My oldest was home a few days ago and pointed out to me that he gets discounts through amazon prime by delaying shipment. Amazon Prime includes free 2 day shipping, but it turns out if you agree to wait a little longer you can get a discount on something else. I’ve gotten a $5 discount toward my next Amazon Pantry purchase! I’ve even gotten credit for books, music and more. Many times I’m not in a huge hurry to receive my order – I just don’t want to pay shipping, so this is a great option.
Now I check every order to see what my shipping ‘bonus’ is.
