Review Qpons for iOS

The iOS 4.3.x home screen, as shown on an iPho...

Qpons is a mobile coupon application that is available on the App Store of your iOS device or via iTunes on your PC. Find, save and redeem special offers from your favorite merchants, restaurants and services using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

With Qpons you download the free app to your iPhone, iPad or iTouch, choose the merchant and show the coupon to the cashier.

It does have great reviews.  Only Louisville in Kentucky and Franklin in TN were listed near me, so I have to remove it and can’t give it a try to see if merchants recognize it but if you are in an area that takes Qpons you might give it a try.

Review- ShopShop App

iTunes icon

Image via Wikipedia

I really like this app for a shopping list.  I’m going to start using it more now that I’ve found it!

It’s simple, free, and EASY!  None of the extra clutter that a lot of apps have.  Apparently an update in the past had a few bugs, so iTunes has it rated a little lower, but the bug appears to be fixed now and I would give it a 5 stars.

If you are looking for an app that is a simple shopping list, give this one a try

Review – Post-It Pop Notes App

I wasn’t overly excited by this app – I’m actually deleting it from my device and my library.   It sounds like a great app in the description, but the first thing I was confronted with was to sign in and create an account.  I didn’t see a way around it, so that nixed it right there for me.

It mentions inviting friends and family to connect through the app – which to me means:

1. Social Networking and 2. It’s using data …. And with most people not having unlimited data now…..

This app would rank higher with me if there was an easy method to use the app without creating an account in the cloud.

Review – ShopSavvy App

CCD Barcode Scanner Argox AS-8000.

Image via Wikipedia

This is a Barcode Scanner and QR Code Reader. This sounds like a REALLY cool app and lists lot of great features.  But there are lots of complaints about it crashing. For me it did all the things I tried, but with so many complaints I am going to have to test it more before recommending it!

If you’ve had any experiences with it, let me know.  (Good or Bad) – It does sound like it can save a lot of money for me over time so I’m definitely going to try to start scanning everything to give it a try!

The couple things I did have it scan weren’t in it’s database (Keurig Geen Mountain Half Calf coffee being one.) – I’m going to play with it more …..
